Health and Safety

Health and Safety

Every person who goes to work in the morning deserves to go home safely, whether they head into an office, to site or even work from home. NNDEV Consultancy adopts a one size fits all approach to Health and Safety; nobody should get hurt or ill as a result of working.

What?

We strive to reduce risk in the environments we work in. On our projects we keep Health and Safety at the forefront of our minds throughout the whole project lifecycle, operating to the highest standards possible so that we can safeguard our stakeholders and give them an environment they can thrive in. Our approach is to minimise risk from the outset, which in turn reduces accidents. And it’s not just about accidents on site. It’s about employee welfare too. We know we enjoy what we do, that’s why we do it and why we choose the employees we have to support us on our mission. But we know sometimes it’s not always as easy as that, so we do our best to prevent work related illness as well as safety incidents on site.

How?

It’s about communication. From open communication a culture of Health and Safety awareness and responsibility is born. We don’t walk past hazards, we don’t sit back if someone is unwell – we open the dialogue of Health and Safety in a constructive and productive manner. At the same time we go back to basics. We ensure that our supply chain use equipment properly and how it was intended right through to acting in a way that is consistent with best practice. We ensure that our employees, and the people we work with, are aware of the latest training programmes available, that they know the industry policy around Health and Safety and that they know their role and responsibilities – by clearly defining them.

Who?

Our Health and Safety approach affects everyone, and is for everyone. From the supply chain right through to the end users, we empower individuals and teams to change behaviours for the better.

When?

There’s no dispute… it’s now. The industry is getting safer and we are delighted to be a part of that. But we won’t stop there, we shall continue to drive Health and Safety to ensure everyone gets home safely so that they can enjoy today, tomorrow and future.
